"The book is an excellent choice if you want to brush up on your American history and Masonic lore before Dan Brown's next novel is released. Also, since the Brown novel has not yet been released, this book won't spoil the story. Instead, I think it will provide Dan Brown's readers with numerous "ah-hah" moments and engage them more deeply as they read The Solomon Key. "

Customer Rating for this product is 5 out of 5 Dan Browns Freemasonry to come?

The saying, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery sure rings true here. This book is a peek into what an investigative researcher speculates will be Dan Brown’s next book, tentatively titled The Solomon Key. The author of this book takes the reader through a path of digesting what Dan Brown has done and the clues he left in the dust jackets of his earlier books meant to interest readers in his next project. With such an invitation thrown down by Dan, David took up the challenge and has produced a compelling speculation on the subject matter involved, potentially the group known as the Freemasons. This books premise is stated specifically that it doesn’t want to spoil the book which is forthcoming, but to add and enhance the plot for the reader by providing an education in the myths surrounding Freemasonry and how the organization was developed and Americanized by early colonists. In my opinion he succeeds. The average American knows so little about Freemasonry that misguided and in some cases seriously misleading fundamental evangelical clergy attempt to stir up public controversy for their cause by denouncing Freemasonry, which deserves neither the stain of the accusations nor the lasting public memory such propaganda leaves in the minds of their otherwise too trusting constituency. Dan Brown may produce a novel, which is likely to be about a fraternity called Freemasonry in a thriller surrounding Washington, DC is one potential plot this book supports. There are many other plot potentials supported in this book about a book, which is not even published yet. To Dan Brown’s credit this book can only guess at his next book, which an appreciative public anxiously awaits. For those who can’t get enough Dan Brown, this might serve to hold you over until the real thing comes along.

Customer Rating for this product is 5 out of 5 Entertaining & educational book

David A. Shugarts analyzed Dan Brown’s The Da Vinci Codes and predicted the sequel, the upcoming Solomon Key. This time Mr. Shugarts’ explains what he perceives will be “the mysteries surrounding the sequel to the Da Vinci Code” as it impacts today and influenced America’s past. However that would mislead the audience as SECRETS OF THE WIDOW’S SON is an interpretation of facts to include a look at the backgrounds of the Founding Fathers not just Washington, but Pike a Freemason and just who the Freemason were and are, the number of key buildings with religious symbols on them and what those symbols means, and the design of the city in a biblical context. Though alleging that his text will provide the key to understand Mr. Brown’s upcoming sequel (will not know until the latter is released), conspiracy buffs will appreciate this alternate look at history at a time when Church vs. State controversy reach the Supreme Court. Though some like this reviewer will be reminded of Erich Von Daniken’s Chariot of the Gods in which “historiography” plays a major role in the interpretation or perhaps the movie Fillard Millmore in which the Founding Fathers were considered Gods by the year 3000, Mr. Shugarts provides an entertaining educational book, but readers need to remain open-minded for other interpretations (perhaps a key to the Shugarts’ key is forthcoming)............
