Synopsis

* Mp3 CD Format *. In its final report, the 9/11 Commission famously called the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia "a problematic ally in combating Islamic extremism." To Gerald Posner, the bestselling author of Why America Slept: The Failure to Prevent 9/11, this is a gross understatement. In his new book, Secrets of the Kingdom, Posner exposes the undeniable truth about U.S.-Saudi relations-and how the Saudis' influence on American business and politics poses a grave threat to our security.

The main thing I learned from this book was how great Israel apparently is and how horrible Arabs are in comparison. There are whole chapters devoted to defending Israel, plenty of criticism of Saudi Arabia, and little to no mention of the terrible things that Israel has done over the years (with the support of the United States government). Read this book if you'd like to hear another one-sided, safe, establishment argument on world affairs, probably commissioned by Mossad.

Secrets of the Kingdom was just that. An inside look at the U.S. - Saudi relations never before known. I was fascinated from start to finish of the honest, poignant writing of the author. Some of the revelations in the book left me frightened because I know how true they are. This book should be a must read for every American. It is a huge wake up call.

Also recommended: Robert Mercer-Nairne's Like No Other - Another great Middle Eastern - USA relations book.
