    Synopsis

Fresh from the success of her book Secrets & Mysteries of the World, Sylvia Browne now writes about the clandestine world of secret societies. Sylvia's research, combined with her amazing communication with her spirit guide Francine, has uncovered the fact that many secret societies affect the lives of each of us every day...whether it be in the areas of religion, politics, economy, government, crime, or other worldwide influences. She shares her knowledge of the conspiracies, coverups, long-held secrets, misinformation, and power manipulations of secret societies in both the past and present and how they can affect us today and in the future.

From the mysterious secrets of the Knights Templar to the powerful secret societies of the modern age, Sylvia takes us on an amazing journey to explore and unearth the truth. She discusses the amazing influence of the Freemasons on our Founding Fathers, the influence of religion on earth-shaking secrets and terrorism, the agenda of powerful secret societies for a "New World Order," and much more.

Sylvia explores it all, and even gives us information on a powerful secret society that no one has even heard about. So lock your windows and doors and read about these societies and their secrets...some will really raise the hair on your neck!

March 01, 2008: I crave to know all that Francine knows but I have a feeling she is holding so much more back to protect us. She knows so much more and I hope that Sylvia bases a book just on that. If you don't think that these societies play a part in our lives NOW, your wrong. Just don't get too paranoid.

She seems to have gotten it right.by Anonymous

November 21, 2007: Many years ago, I read Hugh Schonfield's 'The Passover Plot.' And since then, I have read quite a bit about the Cathars, starting with Stephen O'Shea's 'The Perfect Heresy,' and I have also read a bit about Gnosticism. And like so many people, I have read Dan Brown's 'The DaVinci Code' as well as 'Holy Blood, Holy Grail' by its three authors, and have read, as is noted by Sylvia Browne, that 'Holy Blood, Holy Grail' is based in part on forged documents, and I have noticed for myself that some of it is poorly argued. All of this has left me wondering about some of the questions not answered to my satisfaction in 'The Passover Plot' and in 'Holy Blood, Holy Grail' (and I recognize that 'The DaVinci Code' is fiction that simply served to plant the question of whether Jesus might have been married to Mary Magdalene). Sylvia Browne has done an excellent job of filling in many of the blanks in her chapter entitled 'Lies About Jesus Christ.' From what she has written, I can now see the very possible connection among Jesus' survival and travel to what is now southern France, his teaching of a Gnostic message, and the later spread within that region of the teaching of the Bogomils/Cathars. And what she says about the various secret societies including the Knights Templar also fills in a lot for me. At this point, I am anxious to read more about the Essenes and the Dead Sea Scrolls to see whether the Essenes really had a Gnostic view of the world. But for now, it certainly seems as though Sylvia Browne got it right. I should add here that most of the book is about various secret societies, while my review concentrates on a later chapter. But while all interested me, that later chapter answered a lot of questions for me about issues that I have wondered about for years. For that, I thank Sylvia Browne.
