April 10, 2009: I would rate the xwords in this book as easy to medium in difficulty. The advertising blurb gave a different impression. I bought the book because I always enjoy Mr. Longo's contributions to the NY Times Sunday annual, so was most disappointed at the lack of challenge. And, please, what is the point of the complicated and, to me, nonsensical method of organizing the answers? A great disappointment overall.
