July 16, 2008: This book held my attention from the start. The action was real and the story was compelling. I am a cop and this story was told by a cop that has been there and done it. I strongly recommend this book to all police officers and anyone interested in what cops are really doing out there on the streets.

July 15, 2008: I loved 'The Calling. The Making of a Veteran Cop,' which was Dan Marcou's first book. I really loved, 'Swat. Blue Knights in Black Armor. The story was great, the action was realistic. Finally a book where the good guys are good and the bad guys are bad. I can't wait for 'Lt. Dan's next book.' I am a cop and this was a great police story!
