We just returned from Rwanda. I used this guide and also the previous version to plan our trip. Visited Kigali and the Virunga's. We actually met the young man on the cover! He danced with young Intore dancers from a village near Ruhengeri. Our tour guide for our gorilla safari was the man who drew all of the maps in the book. Rwanda is a beautiful country - green hills, temperate weather, and wonderful, wonderful people. It is also a very safe and welcoming country for women and American travelers. This guide spells out everything that you would need to know to plan your trip of a life time.
