September 19, 2009: As any language learning process, Learning Spanish requires time, effort, and discipline. Rosetta Stone is the fastest way for one to start. I started my Spanish with Rosetta Stone. Since I wasn't born to speak English, learning Spanish using my English would be extremly stupid. Plus, in my country Spanish is not popular, that is why I could not find any book for studying Spanish by my mother tongue. It started so easy and the knowledge that you learn be repeated days after days. Anyone who doesn't have any background on Spanish could start with Rosetta Stone. I did ace the program in three months. I was unemployed and hopeless to find a job. Everyday, I spent for like 8 to 10 hours in front of the computer studying Spanish and applied for a job.
After I found a job, I got back to school and enrolled for Spanish. I am acing my Spanish class with the knowledge I learned from Rosetta Stone.Rosetta Stone is not a perfect program indeed. You would not earn a strong background and foundation on Spanish if you don't use any other aid for grammars and verb conjugation since Spanish verb conjugation is far more complicated than English.Below is the list of products that I have used and found to be great study aids, if you are interested.I Also Recommend: Teach Yourself Hindi Complete Course (Teach Yourself Series), Teach Yourself Nepali, Mastering Spanish, 2000+ Essential Spanish Verbs, Ultimate Spanish Beginner-Intermediate (CD/Book).

August 15, 2009: Some of the words are used and taught incorrectly, such as Nada; the software says the word Nada means " swim". Nada means nothing, the word is Nadar; " to swim". And Rosetta Stone teaches Bebe means "drink". Bebe is "baby". "Beber" means to drink. This makes me wonder how many other word translations are wrong?
