    Synopsis

Award winner Robert Sabuda brings Clement Clarke Moore's classic tale of The Night Before Christmas to life in this festive pop-up edition, sure to become a perennial family favorite.

    Publishers Weekly

Those wishing to give the holiday some gleeful pop need look no further than Sabuda's (The 12 Days of Christmas; The Christmas Alphabet) latest marvel of intricate paper engineering. In a slight twist, a tiny mouse family, tucked in and dreaming of shimmering sweets, wakens to sleigh-and-reindeer clatter. In Sabuda's signature style, a rainbow of solid-colored panels comprises the backgrounds, giving contrast to the white (save for St. Nick's suit) three-dimensional constructions. The pop-up of Santa's reindeer dramatically leaping toward readers is a stunner. All ages. Copyright 2002 Cahners Business Information.

February 09, 2009: I bought this book for a friend of mine to share with her 3 year old son. I love Robert Sabuda books! He is so imaginative and creative - who doesn't love a pop-up book! I love that it is an interactive book as well! Around my home for the holidays, we have all the Sabuda Christmas books, 12 Days of Christmas, The Night Before Christmas, Winter's Tale, Christmas Alphabet - they are great when we have all the kids over!

Definitely something I look forward to every holiday season!

March 04, 2005: Mike Colaianni Mr. Quigley/ Mrs.Farrar English 14 January 2005 The Night before Christmas By Clement C. Moore The Night Before Christmas by Clement C. Moore was a joyful rhyme about how Saint Nicholas came down the chimney on Christmas Eve the night before Christmas. It?s also a pop up book, and because of this you might not want to give it to young children because they might rip it out. You might want to read the book to your young ones and show them the pop-outs and the colorful illustrations. The book was written in 1822 and put on the shelves literally the night before Christmas. There are six different versions of this book. The age group for this book is ages four through nine. It is a 4 ? star book, which means it?s very good. The book has an unlimited amount of joy and happiness when Santa delivers all his presents. This book costs 12.95, which is a good price for a good book.
