November 11, 2009: I like this guide because it was easy to read. I was able to get through the levels a lot easier. I was able to find all the hidden bonuses, though.

July 29, 2009: If you are a serious gamer and used to really great in-depth game guides, you will be very disappointed with the Resident Evil 5 guide. With a mere 2 pages per map, and only overhead shots with vague item placements, this guide provides a brief description of the game (at best). The style in which the guide is written is not entertaining, and makes finding information rather burdensome. For gamers who are not used to gaming or reading through guides, this will be a nice entry-level guide. Unfortunately, seasoned gamers will not appreciate the high-quality pictures of the characters with the lack of detail surrounding item locations, strategy, and general game concepts.
All in all, the guide is useful for beginners and allows one the opportunity to get through the game uneventfully; nonetheless, there is much to be desired. Borrow the guide from a friend, but don't spend the money.
