    Synopsis

Suppose you had to kill three people to save your best friend's life? For John Rain, it should be easy: three fast hits and disappear. But what if you figured your friend is probably going to die anyway? What if you started to think the whole thing was a setup? And what if you were afraid three was just the beginning? John Rain's going to give it a shot.

The Washington Post - Patrick Anderson

… it's an exciting, fast-moving tale, and logic be damned. Eisler makes it easy for us to buy into it because he writes good dialogue and action scenes and gives his characters a fair amount of depth.

September 06, 2009: Decent character development, but they still appear like cardboard cutouts at times. The plot is good, but tried and true. Not much new territory covered.

Great read, maybe the best of the Rain series!by Anonymous

April 27, 2009: Barry takes us further into the mind of a "good" assassin and the struggles to fit into regular life. Very interesting.
