August 11, 2001: Decades ago, when not too many people were concerned about the environment, Rachel Carson was already calling the attention for this essential matter. As years go by, not only common people, but many governors and officials as well, do not seem to understand the importance of preserving planet earth. They insist in policies which affect in a deletirous way the whole balance of our system. Each of us should follow the extradordinary example of Rachel Carson and do our best to preserve and praise the land we live on...
