Customer Rating for this product is 5 out of 5 If you're psycho about grammar and style...
A reviewer, a sociologist, 09/08/2006

Use this book if you do a lot of academic writing (i.e. submit a lot of manuscripts to peer-reviewed journals). It's basically a big standard used in the industry and is the style manual of choice used by many professionals who do a lot of writing about research. Book includes things such as the latest guidelines for submitting papers electronically, guidance on grammar, the mechanics of writing, and lots of details such as how to use hyphens, dashes- well, you get the idea. Basically a very popular reference book used by professors and students, readers will also appreciate its thumb-indexing on the ends of the pages for quickly finding selected topics.
