This revised edition of Public History: An Introduction (1986) includes 26 essays exploring the types of public history and its practice in a range of settings. Essays explore the public history roles of archivists, documentary editors, editors and publishers, historic preservationists, museum educators, librarians, manuscript curators, and policy advisors.
