November 15, 2002: At last someone wrote a math book thats clear and easy to understand. This book helped me survive precalculus. What I didn't understand im my college text, this explained clearly. The examples were worked out with each step explained precisely. It wasn't assumed that the reader knew the fundamentals of algebra, so there were no skipped steps or shortcuts with the examples. Being mathematically challenged, I appreciated this. The book does not cover all topics of a precalculus course, but it's still worth its weight in gold.
