    January 16, 2008: Let me just say that not only do I love the whole Practice Makes Perfect series, I also agree with its philosophy practice really does make perfect! There are no shortcuts to really digging in and mastering something, but I think that the thing that people forget is that practice doesn?t need to be boring. To the contrary, I had so much fun with this book that it hardly seemed like work at all! I know, I know. Memorization. Blah! Right? But it?s all in the way that the material is presented, and the exercises in this book are great! Don?t like true and false? Ok, there?s some multiple choice. Not a fan of multiple choice? How about fill-in-the-blank? There truly is something for everybody. Learning is always the easiest when taught by an engaging instructor. The Learning Spanish Like Crazy CDs are effective for the same reason, though the approach is different. Bottom line: if you?re bored you?re not learning. And who wants to be bored anyway? If you?re looking to dramatically expand your Spanish vocabulary for less than 10 dollars, then this book is for you. I highly recommend it.
