January 11, 2008: The book offers some good neuroscience information. However, it is weighed down with a huge bias towards the Democratic Party and it demonizes Republicans. It is drawn out and way too long. The author is arrogant and presumptuous. Whether the reader is a Democrat or Republican, they will surely be annoyed by Westen's slant. This book is supposed to be scientific and analytical, but it really is just an excuse for Westen to promote himself as a politcal consultant.
