I read the PMBOK first and then took a practice test. I found there was a lot of information on the test that was not clearly stated in the PMBOK. That's where Heldman's book came in. She has really done her research and covers the information that is consistently on the test. It helped me a lot. The only thing I found lacking was the dvd. I would have preferred a couple of full 200-quesion practice...

The flow of this book is not like most PMP study guides I've seen. The norm seems to be each Knowledge Area as its own Chapter. This book goes through the flow of an actual project. This was a bit difficult for me since I had been studying 1 way until I read this book. That not withstanding, the questions on the accompanying CD are what I believe helped me pass. They really seemed to grasp the way...

I bought this book for the 6 practice exams. Since the real test has 200 questions, I expected the practice tests to have 200 questions each. Instead, they range from 50-74 questions each. I have plenty of other PM books covering the content, so this was a waste of my money.
