February 01, 2001: no one else has reviewed it, but this is miller's best book. there are many hilarious scenes. though there isnt as much sex as sexus, it is better because this is where the trilogy (sexus, plexus, nexus) really hits its stride. read sexus first - otherwise there is no point. don't read the trilogy too quickly - after you finish it, you will be depressed and miss your newfound friend henry miller. tropic of cancer & capricorn just aren't the same. the great anthony, a friend of mine, recommended the trilogy to me and while he thinks sexus is the best i think clearly it is plexus.
