Good Text for Physioby Anonymous

October 17, 2009: Costanzo has a knack for explaining difficult concepts simply. I used this book for a medical physiology course and have found it very helpful. It is not exhaustive, but it explains core concepts well and in a much more comprehensive fashion than other physio texts I've used.

I Also Recommend: Physiology.

Great but not comprehensive bookby mcherian

March 02, 2009: For a medical student this is the ultimate book in terms of readability and length. The chapters are pretty short (~80 pgs) and to the point. There isn't as much depth as your class might expect but pretty much covers every topic. I also found the end of chapter questions to be good reviews going in to the exam.
