    Synopsis

Don't even think of starting this book unless you're sitting in a comfortable chair and have lots of time. A fast-paced, impossible-to-put-down adventure awaits as the young orphan Peter and his mates are dispatched to an island ruled by the evil King Zarboff. They set sail aboard the Never Land, a ship carrying a precious and mysterious trunk in its cargo hold-and the journey quickly becomes fraught with excitement and danger. Discover richly developed characters in the sweet but sophisticated Molly, the scary but familiar Black Stache, and the fearless Peter. Treacherous battles with pirates, foreboding thunderstorms at sea, and evocative writing immerse the reader in a story that slowly and finally reveals the secrets and mysteries of the beloved Peter Pan.

November 18, 2009: This book was recommended by Cheryl at my local B & N store. She said her child loved it so I purchased it for my daughter. Well--she loved it! She is reading the second book in the series and I already purchased the third one to give to her later. I plan on purchasing her the fourth one also, probably for Christmas. She says the story is really good and she loves the characters. The outside front cover is very cool too! Thanks to Cheryl-she's a great B & N employee! She also recommended several other series which I purchased for Christmas presents for my daughter and I know she will love them. My daughter says she loves Ridley Pearson and Dave Barry now and wants to meet them and get her books signed. Hopefully I can make that wish happen! Get these books for your young reader!

I Also Recommend: Magyk (Septimus Heap Series #1), Fire Bringer, The Mysterious Benedict Society (Mysterious Benedict Society Series #1), The Mysterious Benedict Society and the Perilous Journey (Mysterious Benedict Society Series #2), The Mysterious Benedict Society and The Prisoner's Dilemma (Mysterious Benedict Society Series #3).

October 24, 2009: This is a great book for all ages, as long as you can understand it. Full of action, suspense, and turning pages, fast as lightning, is the very least you could describe this book. Read it. Really. This book talks about a boy named Peter, an orphan, who goes on adventures, finding the mysterious powder-starstuff-and Molly Aster, as well. He, his orphan gang of boys, and Molly encounter the dangerous Black Stache. Crocodiles, flying, amazing adventures...what more could make such a marvelous book? I guarantee you'll love this book. Try it out! You won't be able to stop!
