A Great Adventure!by Reader4Life100

June 20, 2009: This book is an adventure just waiting for you to join. Peter and the Starcatchers is a wonderful fictional read preceding the tale of Peter Pan. There are many similar characters including Peter, orphan boys, Mr. Smee, Captain Black Stache, and a young girl named Molly.

The book begins with a group of orphan boys who are sold to an evil king. The boys find themselves on a ship, The Never Land, setting sail for Rundoon. Along the way Peter and the young boys encounter many adventures including a mysterious trunk, a shipwreck, and dealing with a band of pirates.

I love that the book is told with a shifting point of view. You are able to see what Peter, Molly, and Captian Black Stache are thinking and how they are dealing with different situations. I also enjoyed the progressive plot throughout the story. The reader's curiosity is constantly being built and there is tons of adventure throughout this story.

This is a great book for an adventure seeking reader.

A must read. You guys have to read it!by Anonymous
