October 29, 2008: I have been dealing with Panic Disorder and daily anxiety attacks since 1986,and have spent all these years using Alcohol to control my symptoms of fear, but by the end of 2006 i was a nervous wreck and an alcoholic.I finally decided to seek professional help for my situation and was put on Paxil and Klonoping by my psychiatrist.I have since improved, have had no panic attacks, but my AGORAPHOBIA and anxiety about future panic attacks was still there:The fear of fear!2 months ago i decided to start C.B.T(Cognitive Behavoiur Therapy) with a Clinic psychologist and have learned excelent skills to deal with my antecipatory anxieties, avoidance behaviours and negative thoughts, but it was not untill last month when i started reading "HOLPE AND HELP FOR YOUR NERVES" a book written by the late Australian Doctor CLAIRE WEEKES,which i bought along with the cd PASS THROUGH PANIC on Amazon.com that i have been feeling a totally new&happy person, because this book and CD gives you ALL the information&encouragement you need to recover from this NASTY condition called Panic Disorder,EVERYTHING you need to know is there, she explains all the phisical symptoms ONE by ONE and teach us a recovery plan that is very SIMPLE,but is not easy. However if you have been dealing with this condition for such a long time as i am you surely will learn a lot and will immensely improve your quality of life after read te book and listening to the CD.I would say that i am ALMOST CURED,because i am now able to do MANY things calmly like any other "normal" person.I am now off Klonoping and my doctor have lowered the paxil dose from 30mg to 20mg daily and i am looking foward to eventually eliminate it from my life.I will keep practicing and let time pass... HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
