March 24, 2001: This book is extrememly helpful for anyone teaching English as a Second Language, or for anyone learning English. The pictures are clear and well-drawn, very easily understood. The book is grouped by theme or category, with a comprehensive index and pronunciation guide. The content and vocabulary ranges from basic to fairly advanced, touching on virtually all the everyday activities an immigrant would encounter and need to know about. I strongly recommend this book to anyone learning or teaching English as a second language.
