More Reviews and RecommendationsThe integration of psychological, social, and biological components of human sexuality in this text is facilitated by the blending of the authors' academic and professional backgrounds. Robert Crooks has a Ph.D. in psychology, and his graduate training stressed clinical and physiological psychology. In addition, he has considerable background in sociology, which served as his minor throughout his graduate training. His involvement with teaching human sexuality classes at the university and college level spans two decades.
Karla Baur a obtenu une maîtrise en travail social. Elle a suivi avec Robert Crooks une formation clinique et a participé récemment à la mise en œuvre d'un programme d'éducation et d'intervention HIV/SIDA au Kenya.

September 16, 2009: This book was phenomenal! I was so engrossed in it, that I read it from cover to cover during my personal time. I needed it for one semester and chose to keep it for myself, rather than sell it back to the bookstore. I highly recommend the purchase, even if you aren't needing it for a class.
I also recommend The Developing Person Through The Life Span. I had an opportunity to meet Kathleen Stassen Berger (the author) and she was truly amazing, as was her book.I Also Recommend: Developing Person through the Life Span.

July 09, 2008: This is the best text book I've ever read. The authors cover a wide range of topics with an open and positive attitude, drawing from a great number of sources to provide accurate and current information. However, it is the human side, quoting from their own files, that draws the reader in. To be honest, I also appreciate the authors' use of sentence variation. This was one text book I never napped on.
