November 21, 2009: Now, I know this is considered a classic and comes highly recommended by most people. That said, I was a little disappointed. But only a little. Probably because of all of the hype.
It is really informative on a toddler level. The pictures are nice, the words are what seems to capture my 2 1/2 year-old's attention. "and sat and sat and sat and sat......." However it just isn't his favorite.Reader Rating:

November 11, 2009: The storyline is just difficult to read aloud. The narrator keeps repeating "I, Joshua's mother" and to be honest, it annoys both me and my husband. I just don't feel that it flows well. The descriptions are cute, however, and anatomically correct without being offensive or too mature for my child. My son lost interest in this potty book within a week but has another one that he asks for every time we go to the potty. This is not our favorite
