Many people fondly remember this book. Nancy loves to play Nurse, but her older brothers are always too busy with their big boy games to play with her. One day, when brother Billy falls and hurts himself, Nurse Nancy is at the ready to help him with real plastic bandages! This lively, charming book from the 1950s is still fresh today.

December 21, 2005: I am a nurse, and my name is Nancy! I cherished this book as a child in the 50's, acting out the storyline. I also believe the gentle spirit of Nurse Nancy contributed to my personality as a nurturing person, and influenced my career choice. Since I became a nurse, I have searched my parent's house to no avail for my original copy. I'm so pleased to see that it's been re-released for new generations to enjoy.
