January 04, 2009: This pocket guide is wonderful for all bird watchers. It is not an informational guide it is an identification guide and is wonderful for keeping close by. Wonderful illustrations and convieniant size.

I Also Recommend: National Geographic Field Guide to Birds, National Wildlife Federation Field Guide to Birds of North America, National Geographic Field Guide to the Birds of North America.

May 03, 2005: I thought I was getting a paperback BOOK that would help identify birds, telling me what they prefer to eat. It is a folding card with tiny pictures -- and it doesn't even include the 2 birds I was trying to identify.I guess it's handy on an outing, but certainly not helpful with the backyard birds in this part of NC.
