Why can't these guys write the owner's manual in the first place?by Kevin_Christopher

March 22, 2009: While Nikon does an above average job in producing readable owner's manuals (I've owned their N55 and N80 film cameras before finally breaking down and buying their D60.), The Nikon D60 For Dummies is a welcome addition to my library. In fact, I bought the book before I bought the camera! The book is like having your own private tutor giving you tips and tricks to get the most out of your experience. The practical advice that isn't in the owner's manual makes this a VERY worthwhile purchase. I was a fairly experienced amateur photographer before I bought a digital SLR. Even so, I found the book quite useful. Had I been new to SLR photography, it would have been a lifesaver.
