    Synopsis

I FELT LIKE I WAS TRAPPED IN ONE OF THOSE TERRIFYING NIGHTMARES…
For Bella Swan, there is one thing more important than life itself: Edward Cullen. But being in love with a vampire is even more dangerous than Bella ever could have imagined. Edward has already rescued Bella from the clutches of one evil vampire, but now, as their daring relationship threatens all that is near and dear to them, they realize their troubles may be just beginning. . . .
Legions of readers entranced by the New York Times bestseller Twilight are hungry for the continuing story of star-crossed lovers Bella and Edward. In New Moon, Stephenie Meyer delivers another irresistible combination of romance and suspense with a supernatural spin. Passionate, riveting, and full of surprising twists and turns, this vampire love saga is well on its way to literary immortality.

    Publishers Weekly

Not since TV's Buffy "the Vampire Slayer" Summers battled demons in the halls of Sunnydale High has a teenager faced the number of monsters that Bella Swan does in Meyer's melodramatic sequel to Twilight. Bella's vampire boyfriend Edward and his unusual clan are joined by an ancient pack of werewolves-also with connections to Bella-in a story that's got romance, adventure, thrills and even a quick detour to Italy. Thanks to Kadushin's (who also read Twilight) consistently smooth delivery and her plausibility as a teen navigating heartbreak, hormones and confusion, listeners are likely to hang on for the many fever-pitch moments of suspense here, even if the lengthy tale could have used some pruning. Ages 12-up. (Oct.) Copyright 2006 Reed Business Information.

November 06, 2009: Do you love books that have a couple with a shaky, rocky relationship as well as adventure? Well if you do this is the book for you. And if you don't it still is the perfect book for you especially if you're one of those lazy readers. Personally I didn't want to read but I had to and I eventually fell in love love with it. This is a chick book and I'm a guy and I really liked the book. It was fun and exciting to read it, even though I looked like a nerd walking around with the book all day. One thing that I really like about it is how the author wrote the book in her perspective and using bella in the process to do that. It made me understand the story more because at first I didn't get it cause I didn't read the first book. As I got deeper into the book I began to understand it more and how the book is mainly about the obstacles that bella and edward face to be with one another. They show and reminded me what true love is about. It shows how one person is willing to do anything to keep you happy or safe. This book inspired me to get some spark back into my relationship and just do the little things that make my girl happy. Hope this revue was helpful.

November 06, 2009: Have you ever fell in love with someone, and had to let go? In the book New Moon Bella struggles to let go of Edward. while edward was doing it for her own good, he wanted to protect her from getting hurt, edward knew if he stayed around Bella would end up getting killed by another vampire. The theme to this book is a similar story to Romeo and juliet. How they both are madly in love with each other, but there was always something in there way from being happy together. thats how Bella's and Edward's love is in New Moon. The story takes place in a little town called forks, action involved in this book was fork in the woods, La push and Italy towards the end of the story. Main characters in this particular book was Bella and james the wear-wolf who comforted her while Edward was gone. The story fulfill it's purpose greatly. Bella can go through a troubled life and she doesn't care as long as she has Edward. My likes and dislikes the book was a little slower then twilight but, i really disliked hoe Bella was very depressed for a very long time and didn't talk about how Edward felt until the end. and i liked how edward expressed himself towards the end when Bella thought she was dreaming. Reading New Moon i really did enjoy it as well as the first book, I would definitely recommend to read.
