October 04, 2009: The only problem I have with this book is that I already have one. The reason I purchased this one is because when I was checking it out it had a publishers date for 2009 and I thought it was A updated copy of my older book but it the same exact copy of my 1996 copy. But my old copy is now in use at my sisters house.

December 18, 2008: I have had this book since the early 1970s. My kids always wondered how I knew how to fix the washer, toilet or figure out why the dryer won't heat. They thought I knew everything about appliance repair. This book is why. My son recently married and bought a new house. I am letting him in on my secret even though he's pretty handy. I know he'll appreciate it.
