September 04, 2008: I have a huge needlework book collection which includes every title Miss Greenoff has written, even one in French! But her publisher keeps cranking out this same book with 'New!' in the title. It was published in 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007 and now this year. So make sure you don't get duplicate editions. That said, Jane Greenoff is a prolific cross stitch designer and author and is so talented and popular that 'Jane Greenoff's Cross Stitch' is a monthly magazine in England devoted exclusively to her. Our equivalent would be Oprah's 'O' magazine. This book is highly recommended because the pics are better than almost all other stitch books, the projects are glorious and the writing is very inspiring. Beginners can take up stitching almost immediately. I was pleased and proud to enjoy a weekend stitch seminar with Miss Greenoff a couple years ago. She was very gracious and, I thought, a great teacher. So: buy this book. But just one.
