In this well-loved Little Critter picture book, our funny young hero has to get used to a new baby sister. What a problem. The baby doesn't pay attention when Little Critter reads to her. She cries when he makes silly faces. And she can't understand the jokes he tells. It's seems like an impossible task, but Little Critter finally figures out what you CAN do with a new baby -- and becomes a very good brother.
The new baby takes some getting used to, but she's worth it.

March 23, 2009: I have loved Mercer Mayer's Critter books for a long time. The stories have a wonderful message, flavored with humor, colored with great pictures. I read these stories to my children and now have the joy of reading them to our grandchildren.

August 29, 2008: Mercer Meyer really hits a home run with this warm, loveable book. Great for older brothers/sisters making the transition from being THE child to now having a baby in the fold. Thumbs up, New Baby!
