      Synopsis

Hastings is a young American with a small family and a loving girlfriend. His battalion moves to Iraq and he finds himself surrounded by violence and death from all sides. Right after his first armed encounter which results in the death of a few innocent women and children, he realizes that he doesn't belong there. He and his trusted friend, Harbash both feel terribly guilty and want to go back.
Both the friends go through an emotional roller coaster ride filled with fear, disgust, pain and helplessness. Life means nothing but kill or be killed. Everyday, amidst mounting anxiety and tension, they survive an ever increasing number of suicide attacks and ambushes on US troops.
Back home, Harbash's girlfriend dumps him and Hastings' girl gets into a whole lot of trouble with her parents. During one of the gun battles, Hastings gets injured and hospitalized and his esteemed Sgt Major, Staff Sgt Duncan gets paralyzed for life. This incident leaves a deep impact on Hasting's life...
Will Hastings, Harbash and their fellow soldiers return home safely??? Find out in this heart wrenching tale about love, camaraderie, war and consequence...
