December 28, 2000: It is my personal belief that if one is to truly appreciate the Mass, he/she must understand its meaning, history, movements, and symbols. This book by Fr. Champlin accomplishes the thirst of many Catholics to better know this 'Sunday Routine.' He goes through the history and development of the Mass and makes colorful comparisons and contrasts between the old Latin Mass and our current Mass. If you are an Altar Server or Coordinator or Sacristan or Minister, this is a MUST for you!
