May 23, 2003: I just got both of Ms. Galvin's titles ('Play and Pray' and 'Lent and Easter') - and I couldn't be happier. Having taught CCD classes to second graders for four years, these books are just what I've needed to help keep a roomful of happy, but squirming, seven year olds on task. The textbooks supplied in most religious education programs are informative, but many of the activities can seem rather dull to the kids. With enough different activities to appeal to everyone's interests, these two books will help me expand on textbook lessons and keep my students happy, too!
