"A chilling odyssey into the origins of life-and death." (USA Weekend)
Robin Cook is back--with his most provocative bestseller. A harrowing medical nightmare that goes beyond the shocking chills of Coma and the sweeping panic of Outbreak . . . into the controversial future of genetics. "A chilling odyssey into the origins of life--and death."--USA Today.
In ''Mortal Fear,'' Dr. Robin Cook once again turns that ostensible house of healing, the hospital, into a slaughterhouse - but he does so, alas, in his typical Dick-and-Jane prose, with the obligatory dangling participle. -- New York Times
