    December 04, 2007: This book is built on the classic marekting research textbook by Kinnear & Taylor, which was the best book on the market in the early 90s, then disappeared. I got this version because the old book was terrific. But this one has added a LOT of new material, particularly on the internet and probably the most complete explanation of *methods* I've ever seen. It walks you through all the statistical stuff in great detail, but isn't boring (like a lot of stats books), including techniques that market researchers need to know (like MDS and conjoint analysis). Great examples, and you can access all the data in the book on-line (it comes with a free subscription to the entire book on-line). Definitely the best MR book I've seen.
