March 22, 2008: Women around the world mobilized to counteract violence against women during World War I and to contribute their skills paving the way for women's sufferage. An interesting and worthwhile look at a pivoral era in women's history. This book contains much information you are not likely to see elsewhere in and paints a fresh picture of women in the field of medicine and the military while women's right to full citizenship was being hotly debated.
