August 23, 2009: I wanted to learn how to cross-stitch, so I bought this kit. It was so easy to follow. The instructions were very clear, and the cross-stitch pictures are so cute. They are also small and uncomplicated enough that it's not overwhelming for a first-time cross-stitcher. For each one, she even gives you a cute idea (and a picture) of what to do with it, such as apron pocket, cell phone carrying case, needlebook, etc. My only complaint is that there was only enough Aida to do half of the designs in the book. But, I just went to Hobby Lobby and got more, which I wanted to do anyway so I could start doing my own. This kit was a great inspiration!
