October 05, 2009: This is an excellent book for learning and improving skills in Access 2007. This book will allow you to learn and practice most of the skills you'll need to become an accomplished Access database user. The reader is able to practice many actions and the repetitive exercises will help the user become better and retain more of the database functions. This book may not be for the novice, but someone with a good idea of software, especially Microsoft Office, can pick up a solid working knowledge of Access using this book. An experienced IT person should be able to understand the ideas and become very familiar with Access quite easily from using this book.
The size and clarity make the book much more useful for everyday tasks. It is an excellent desktop reference and its clear and easily understood language and helpful examples make it useful for explaining Access concepts. The exercises on the CD can be used to show novices how the database stores and handles information. This is a superb reference book for IT professionals and Access 2007 users.I Also Recommend: Microsoft Office Excel 2007.

July 20, 2009: I have never used ACCESS before. I spent one night on
this book and then found that I can work with ACCESS well. For beginners with some database knowledges, this book is a good choice.
