August 20, 2003: There are no VBA classes available in my geographical location, so I am trying to learn solely thru books. After the first couple of chapters, I found that the sample code in the book just didn't seem to work. Each chapter seem to be missing something that I needed to understand the concept and make things work properly. This book is not for absolute beginners. You need to know what is missing, for it to make sense.

July 21, 2003: Publisher advertises that CD ROM with source code for all examples in the book is available. Do not set your hopes too high, many programs - those more significant - are simply missing on the CD ROM and those that are there have errors and do not execute. Since one of the best approaches to learn programming is to analyze already existing code publisher lost an excellent opportunity to make a really important contribution to those of us that are learning VBA. Lack of any phone number for the follow-up makes impossible to find out what happened with the missing programs.
