Author Steven D. Elve, a member of the Great Lakes Maritime Institute and the Lake Huron Lore Marine Society, offers a view into the past so we can inspect, learn, and gain a better understanding of how lighthouse keepers lived and worked along the shores of Lake Michigan nearly a century ago.
