February 11, 2009: I bought this book for my daughter around the Christmas season and we both had a blast with it. The paper is sheer and can be filled in with crayons, markers, water colors, etc. The stained glass sketches are very beautiful and intricate, but it's almost impossible to "mess up" a picture, so kids can color in with confidence.

Also, the pages tear out easily and can be hung in front of windows. We did this in my daughter's bedroom and the images are truly pretty, especially when the sun shines through them. It's well past Christmas but we still enjoy coloring these panels together. This is a wonderful activity for parents and kids. I dare any parent to not be tempted to color their own panel. It's lots of fun. Also good for kids of varying ages and skill levels.
