      June 01, 2009: I picked up this book assuming that it would be just another run of the mill romance book without much substance or plot... I was completely wrong. This book is an absolute gem because not only does it focus on a couple older than the traditional romantic couple, but every single page is full of witty comments and thoughts that will literally make you laugh out loud. I fell in love with Kathie the minute i started reading the book, and it felt like i was actually there with her while she experienced what it is like to fall head over heels right from the first view. This is truly a fantastic read and one i recommend to anybody who loves romance or even simply just needs a good laugh... really brilliant book.

      I Also Recommend: The Grand Finale, Hard Day's Knight, Blow Me Down, The Corset Diaries, Improper English.

      October 26, 2008: first of all i just wanna say...KILTS ARE HOTTTT!!! This is one of my fav. katie mac books. i love Scotland and big sexy men in kilts. but i also like that katie wrote about an older couple... usually all the pairs are early to late twentys to mid thirties (not just katie mac's books...) and it is really sweet to think about Kathie and Iain getting a second chance with each other... it is a really funny romantic story... with a touch of that mean ex-lover that is making life hell for everyone. but this book will have your heart and your funny bone at the first turn of the page...
