      Synopsis

Dennis Sommer's gig as school tabloid reporter couldn't sink any lower. Interviewing a wealthy town resident is the ultimate contradiction of cool. When he finds the subject of his lukewarm periodical is a stone cold corpse, the police drag the young journalist in for their own version of questions and answers about the millionaire's mysterious death. Fear and confusion colliding, Dennis Sommers turns to the one person he belives can make any sense of it, Matthew Livingston. A genius of deduction and lateral thinking, Matthew will test science and theory to prove a murder was committed. With the ever confident Sandra Small at his side, Dennis is dispatched into an investigation that leads him into the very soul of evil. Crime, greed, and power show no remorse as a maniac builds a platform for mass terror, a platform only equalled by the determination of Matthew Livingston to stop it.

June 20, 2009: Marco Conelli has demonstrated a unique writing skill that can be enjoyed by young adults as well as those older readers. He provides a clear transition from his first book and the characters take on a life which we are all accustomed to ... one of trying to stay out of trouble but not succeeding too well. I look forward to seeing this series continue and providing much enjoyment. Young readers look out, you're going to get hooked on this author.

March 06, 2009: The (still) newest teen gumshoe returns with a mystery that explodes (literally). If you thought the Prison of Souls was dark wait until you read its successor the Millionaire Murder. Matthew Livingston, along with frustrated high school journalist and above, beyond, and benevolent Sandra Small hunt down a new age criminal psychopath. A much overdue upgrade to this genre made famous by the Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew. A must read for young adults as well as adults that just love a good mystery.

I Also Recommend: Matthew Livingston And The Prison Of Souls.
