    Synopsis

It's the first day of school, and Cassie is all set to go. So is her dog, Marley!

Although he's told to stay, Marley digs a tunnel out of the backyard and sniffs his way to school. As he roams the halls looking for Cassie, he finds trouble instead. From wolfing down hot dogs in the cafeteria to setting free a bunch of mice in science class, Marley won't stop until he locates his best friend. This lovable and rowdy dog may not be much of an academic, but he's full of school spirit!

Packed with action and hilarious Marley bad-boy antics, this follow-up to the bestselling Bad Dog, Marley! and A Very Marley Christmas will leave readers howling for more. Awooo!

    School Library Journal

PreS-Gr 3—Marley, king of misbehavior and digger extraordinaire, is back. Cassie is all set for her first day of school, and he decides to join her. "'You silly dog,' she tells him. 'School's for kids, not dogs.'" But, of course, this isn't any dog. This is Marley. He escapes the confines of the backyard and follows her scent to the school. Once inside, hilarity and chaos ensue as Marley discovers the copy machine, cafeteria, science class, and gymnasium. It isn't until he runs outside during recess that he finds Cassie and the rest of the family, who have been searching for him. The colorful illustrations capture the exuberance and charm of this energetic animal and the humans in his life. The characters' facial expressions are priceless, and readers will enjoy following Marley's trail of destruction and mayhem through the pictures.—Lisa Gangemi Kropp, Half Hollow Hills Community Library, Dix Hills, NY

October 04, 2009: Bad Dog Marley has been one of my grandchildren's favorites so it was greaat to add another adventure about Marley. The illustrations are a story on every page with plenty to talk about . They are ages 3-7, boys and girls and they all love the stories. They LOVE Baby Louie and repeat his phrase, Bah Woo Woo Waddy, over and over as I am reading.

I Also Recommend: Bad Dog, Marley!, No, David!.
