February 09, 2009: Not only is this book easy to read and understand, it provides a plethora of information about shrubs and trees. You can't find a more comprehensive book of this kind in the midwest. As a master gardener, this has helped me identify trees just by type of bark or a leaf sample. This book is a plus for any gardener's book shelf.
