March 02, 2009: Since I have recently moved, I had been looking for a new church home. I seem to have found one in a local Lutheran church. I recently purchased this book to give me an overview of the Church's beliefs. This is such a great book; it is easy to read and gives a lot of bible references in the Explanation section. Plus, most of the text of the bible verses are included, so that you do not have to use both this book and a bible if you do not want to. If you do, however, there are longer readings that are referenced, though the text is not included. This feature makes the book a great devotional tool.
