Destiny and Bradley are hastily betrothed via their 16-hour entrapment within the jaws of a crippled precariously suspended elevator, threatening an imminent disaster awaiting them at ground zero. Their only hope is Rosemary, the sage who keeps a timepiece denoting every possible prediction of the future.
Crystal, the beautiful and scintillating diva returns from the forgotten past to discover the only reprieve from her desperate fractal time warp keeping her from her soul mate rests in the hands of an unborn child.
Love is abounding via the magic of an unsuspecting old soul who has transcended the portal of time.
Once again, the power of soul mates and the endurance of the human spirit are put to the test.
New discoveries are made in the most unpredictable circumstances. And though this is the second installment of the trilogy, this story holds its own merit with new characters, unfolding mysteries of paranormal entities and villains vicious enough to make your skin crawl.
The sexual tension between Bradley and Destiny is only compounded by Crystal's quick-witted humor and steely belligerence.
This is an intriguing story of soul mates challenging all possible parameters of life and the time travel of past lives only to find true love where most would say it couldn't be done. But Mike and Miranda know only too well that nothing is impossible

October 08, 2009: There are absolutely few words to describe just how beautiful a read this is. This is one of the best books I've ever read. The storyline pulsates with life, enigmatic and memorable characters that try to survive in the harsh and bitter reality in which they live. I have to say that this is one of the best paranormal romance books I have ever read. I immediately fell in love with Bradley and his cute point of veiw. Great humor, passion, magic is abundant. This really is the most compelling story I have ever read. A rather large read I consumed in two days. Well worth my neglecting my chores. Rosemary is a wonderful character for such a powerful subject matter. Beneath the paranormal is a deeper story of conspiracy, injustice, and the power of legal revenge. Michaels has created a hugely assorted cast of characters, all orchastrated in perfect harmony. The tie-in of Brad and Destiny to Mike and Miranda's family had me in tears. And at last, Crystal is given the good news she had been waiting years to hear. I dare you to read this book and not shed a tear of satisfaction and love by the story's end. Simply a wonderful read.

September 17, 2009: The best story, characters, drama, paranormal romance, and humor I have read in a long time. The banter between Bradley and Crystal is epic. For example: A few minutes later the busy waitress returned with our meals.
She asked if I would need ketchup for my hashbrowns.Regaining her prowess of verbal assault, Crystal chimed in onceagain. "Yeah, Bradley, are you going to need a condiment for that, orare you planning on having it neutered?""Oh, bite me, Crystal." I guess I lost my sense of humor and allrestraints over my resentment, though her remark was quite clever, given any other time."Blow me.Bradley!" retorted Crystal, leering at me like she wasready to pounce over the table."Eat me, you bitter, self-absorbed, man-hating tyrant." Golly, ifonly I could have said what I really was feeling."Say when!" Crystal bolted forward, leaning face first into mypersonal space."Well.now that the oral sex is out of the way.can we attempt toeat our breakfast like civilized people?" Destiny quipped with a cutegrin of satisfaction painted across her face.Though this little excerpt is without propper context or prelude, the humor, nonetheless, is amazingly clever. The romance is equally stewed when Brad and Destiny are finally left to their own. This is a must read romance that actually has a fantastic story.I Also Recommend: Only Love Is Real, The Five People You Meet in Heaven, Love Returns Through The Portal Of Time.
