June 07, 2009: I bought this this book with the intention of passing it on to my daughter who just graduated from Medical School. I liked the book so much that I felt I should keep it. I know I will refer to it if I ever need to be an "exceptional patient". I bought my daughter her own copy as I know she already feels that patients and doctors both need to believe in the power of positive thinking. Wether you've faced cancer yourself or with a family member or friend, this a book worth your time to read.

February 16, 2009: I ordered this book to help me with my own medical issues. I was able to completely heal myself from the possibility of having a bone density transplant with a dental issue. I was told by the periodontist that I would need to have this done. I began practicing some of the methods suggested in this book and went back to see the doctor a month later. The doctor told me that it was rare but that sometimes the bone would grow back where it was not very dense and in my case this happened. I went back a month later for a check up just to be sure and the periodontist told me that I would not need the transplant.
